The Campaign

"3000 miles to go"- the nationwide journey on climate change

"3000 miles to go" is a nationwide massive Campaign to raise understanding and awareness on climate change among the mass audience of Bangladesh. To do so the campaign has travelled more than 3000 Miles in 80 days to reach all the 64 districts of Bangladesh to talk about the change. The campaign was on the move from 27th October 2011 to 16th January 2012.



Using a series of short films (see The Films) on climate change, produced by the British Council and Wildeye on different aspect of climate; this campaign has confidently built better understanding of 'what is climate change' among the mass people of Bangladesh.

Postcard Competition
The campaign also reached to more than hundred thousand high-school students from all the districts through a post card competition. 

Climate Testimony
3000 miles to go is not only telling the mass Bangladeshis about climate change, but it’s also all ears about what the common people has to say on the matter.
